Hello Guys,
I'm trying to select primitives either with a name attribute or else using an houdini sop or python.
Do you guys might any idea how to proceed. Any help will be appreciated.
I built a tool using sop and vex and basically what I am trying to do is say whatever geo left in the scene, select them(with a class attribute or else) and print these classes to me.
Thanks guys.

Thank you babaJ, I will check this out. I am not sure if volume is what I am looking for in this paBticular case.

Thank you Nicolas,
Now that I know voxel size is constant, I'll try and find a way to combine them. I couldn't find a VDB mask, only the VDB occlusion mask.

Hello guys,
Is there a way to control the voxel size of VDB from polygon, say using a map or a noise. What I want to do is blur details on a geo I am working on while keeping details in some areas.
Thanks in advance

Hello Midphase,
Sorry but I can't for the file, it's a proffessional one.
However the file is set up this way
Object
Extrude volume
Remesh
Vdb from poly
Convert vdb
As soon as I remove vdb from poly, redshift renders
Cheers

Hello Guys,
I am rendering with redshift and I have an asset that had to converted to VDB and reconverted to poly using the VDB convert to get the approppriate amount of poly without slowing down render calculation. But it seems like redshift doesnt recognise VDB convert to poly. It renders black. no geo at all.
Any help?
Cheers
