When I load the image sequence into the texture, I get this error:

So I have my space ship flying through space and now I need to add my live action plate to the inside of the spaceship.
I guess I need to place a grid inside the ship, just behind the slightly transparent windows of the ship. I know how to add a still image to the grid, but how do I project an image sequence to the grid?
Or if this is not the correct way to do this, what would be a better alternative?

Through further investigation, I found that one of the boxes in the Principal Shader was wired into the wrong port.
The Principalshader1 ‘F’ port was plugged into the ‘Layer’ port of computelighting1. I removed this and put it as an input to the ‘F’ port and it all then worked.
Why would the system wire these incorrectly?
I'm using a HP Z840, with Intel E5-2620 v3 @ 2.4GHz, 64 GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX980 Ti card.

Hi
I am using a principal shader. Drop it on my geo. Right click and say Allow Edit. Suddenly the node goes red stripy with an error Unknown parameter: ‘reflect’.
I have two lights - spot light and an area light.
Any ideas whats wrong?
I'm running Indie 15.5.

If I remember rightly part 2 was never published. It's certainly not on the Vimeo archive if it did appear on the main SideFX site at some point.

Hi all,
I'm new to Houdini and want to make a corn field in an environment that can change procedurally.
I was thinking that I'd need to create a single corn stork and then use copy stamp to replicate. Would this be a good idea or how else might I do this?
Later I have to integrate a live action plate of an actor walking through a corn field with the CGI version I am creating.
Any thoughts?

Hi all,
I have geo in the form of a jet plane and want to emit a heat haze from the jet engines. I have created particles that emit from the jets but I don't know how to set up the metaballs and copy to particles and convert to a volume.
Any thoughts?

I'm trying to make my own based on the one you sent. However, I can't seem to get it to work the same. Instead of creating a line behind the camera, it's creating a surface that expands as the camera moves…

Hi
I have some complex animation on my camera and I'd like to see the path it takes displayed in the GUI window when viewing a 4 View.
I'm sure i used to be able to do this in XSI or Modo.
Any ideas?

Hi all
I'm fairly new to Houdini coming from Modo.
I have some models that I have used in Modo that I now want to use in Houdini. I have them in OBJ and FBX format. I thought that the FBX would be ideal as the models have textures and materials and is UV mapped. But for the life of me I cant figure out how to get the textures and materials onto the model which I have successfully imported.
Im using the Apprentice version currently.
Please help.
