are the constraints broken ? You could bring your glue polygons into a sop solver and delete the ones that wont break on the frame you'd like .. hacky but should work .

Hey all , so trying to get this set up working myself at the moment , and hitting a wall with the driving force right now .
Ive got all of the fields set up , and am getting the volume attraction , i can see the force in the goalGrad vis , …but its overshooting goal by a lot .
I'm using a gas calc to add to vel field with goalGrad , so maybe thats where i'm going wrong .

as well, if you have volume close to your camera near clip , your renders are going to be HUGE !
Technical Discussion » Delete Pyro volume post sim in SOPs ?

Hey all, I've been running my head around this, but can't seem to find a fast solution. Lets say Ive got a Pyro volume in .bgeo and I want to subtract sections of the volume , say wrap my camera in a box and delete any volume inside that box to speed up rendering,or just remove any arbitrary section of the sim with like a boolean type opp.
I've tried using a volume mix sop subtract but it only removes a portion of the volume ‘leaving some behind’ . spliting up the volume in to it's individual primitives using a visibility sop / prim sop/ volume mix/ seems to work, but then something goes haywire when I re-merge the volume together and mantra won't render it….anyways thanks for your thoughts on this one !
