I'm making spider web shooter.
I already completed points order and particle system.
I tried to create line using “add” but there are several problems.
it doesn't connect between first point and last point.
- you can see a picture “connectionLine.png” .
there are points 6,7,8,9,10,11 and 12,13,14,15,16,17.(I seperated 2groups.)
but 6 and 11 doesn't connect. also 12 and 17.
-> so I think that i will be easier if i know how to create line in wrangle.
I was supposed to wire simulation.
I tried.
shooter points have to be constrained. so I used “Constrain” or “wire glue”.
but I made that I can handle the number of shooter points. (there is “Group” parameter but there was no group I made)
Could you have any good idea or solution?
Thank you for reading

Hello.
I'd like to read position of each point (ramp) in wrangle.
I found some function about ramp( chramp(), chrampt(), and chrampf()) but these are not what i want.
I tried to find another way. I made VEX Ramp Variables when I created Ramp but I don't know how to use these.
Thank you for reading.
Have a great day!!

Hello everyone!
I use pop wrangle in houdini 16.
I'd like to control impulse activation in pop wrangle.
Impulse activation's parameter name is impulseactiveate. so i wrote @impulseactiveate = 1; but i didn't work.
Could you help me using this?

Hi!!
I wonder about editing detail attribute in point wrangle.
I know getattrib() & setattrib().
getattrib(string geometry, string attribclass, string name, int elemnum, int &success)
int setattrib(int geohandle, string attribclass, string name, int elemnum, int vtxofprim, vector value, string mode=“set”)
but it is array which I made as detail attribute.
I really don't know how to access specific element of array.
I have to interact point attribute and detail attribute.
plz help me guys!!

Hello!!!!
I was looking around attribute function in document for solving that problem.
it can edit attribute of first input.
but second input…. I have no idea.
I found a function “setattrib(int geohandle, string attribclass, string name, int elemnum, int vtxofprim, int value, string mode=”set“)”.
so in my opinion, if i know about “geohandle”, it could be possible.
Does anybody know about that?

Thank you again BabaJ

Hello!
now I'm coding using vex in houdini.
I'd like to make function like “swap” and “quck sort”.
like this in C++ :
void swap(int* a, int* b)
{
int tmp=*a;
*a=*b;
*b=tmp;
}
But I konw there is no pointer operator in vex.
so how can I access *a or &a?
