Hi there,
Well I am in an lookdev stage currently. And the production wants to use XPU and CPU for this show. Just noticed that the output of XPU and CPU renderer is quiet different. Now I try to sort out what is causing that. I know they are different renderes...
Now I ende up with an clean scene with just on grid and no textures. It seems that roughness value of 1 showes up diffrently. I am also not sure about the Normals... Its supposed to be a MaterialX project! but the princeple is also producing differences in roughness.
would be glad about any kind of informations regarding this.
thanks guys!

Hi there, I need some animated cloth stiffness and tried to assign a simple attribute build in sop level.
I used this very long expression in the vellumconstraintproperty wrangle slot, inside the vellum sop solver.
stiffness = @var;
I already saw the mastclass stuff without success.
Any advice would be nice. thx
enclosed u`ll find the file

hello there,
I need to figure out a way to bring up normals which a under surface level. Is there a vop system, or any other sop combination I can use to bring up normals which are under the surface and align them to the curvature of the topology.
thanks for all hints!

Instead of creating your group manually try to make it more automatic by using the boundingbox solution.
Good luck
