Will check that out thanks, Do you guys see yourself including Arnold lights and shaders? We have existing assets that would be great to transfer without rebuilding them.

I think the problem is that I thought, that if I had Renderman and the Renderman delegate for Solaris that I could use the scene import node the same way I would with native Houdini lights and shaders. Is this not the case?

Hey all,
Found that using the scene import node doesn't work with Arnold(lights/shaders). Is this something that will be fixed in future?
Thanks Sue

Hey there, Please see attached video:
Problem one:
When I use the import all node into Solaris my sphere renders “white”, no lighting/shading info comes thru at all.
Problem two:
Switching between obj level and stage level crashes Houdini.
System : Linux Centos 7
Houdini: 18.0.278.9
RenderMan 23.0

Is there somewhere in the documentation that states how I should be compiling it for pdg?

Hey there,
I am using the following in my ffmpeg node(see image attached)
This worked on my windows at home but doesn't seem to work on my Linux centos 7
It gives me the following errors:
If I remove -apply_trc then it complains about -c:v libvpx-vp9. If I remove that it complains about it being an .webm
Is there something I need to install on my Linux to make this ffmpeg work?
