Unfortunately, no such tool exists to my knowledge but there are some workarounds you could do.

@SIgor420, Thank you for the video, just a note about knife tool that is good but generate unshared edges on primitive border selection.
cf. quik gif to simple workaround

@Grendizer, As I also come from softimage I also remember frustation about edge divide tool

I haven't fixed so far, but looks like the icon should play fine on most systems.

On another computer I have another 18.5 indie version but this one NOT python 3 build and all is running fine here.
But if your not in python 3 build problem don't come from here but from our system/config as you said.

Divide Equally
Divide polygonal geometry into multiple pieces fairly distributed based on XYZ spacing, or numbers, of subdivisions specified.
Specificity here is that distribution is done from an manually or automatically oriented bounding box.

Polygons are properly divided without generate unshared edges but can also be sliced.

Multiple island of polygon can be divided independently with their oriented bounding box for each one. Island are evaluated by connectivity of input or group selection if any.

due to not being Python 3 compatible (reload() no longer exists).

Seriously? Throw it in the trash.

Python 2 forever

It's just need now to be call like "importlib.reload" with the importlib module.

Don't know if that help but here with the 18.5.672 (Python 3) all is fine when I try to recreate your step.
To use reload() you may have now "import importlib" module, then use it with "importlib.reload()" line for example.

They're documented in model/attributes, under Viewport display attributes. There are four:

- gl_wireframe - force wireframe (1) or shaded (-1)
- gl_lit - draw with lighting (1) or no lighting (0)
- gl_showallpoints - draw points even if connected to geometry
- vm_cuspangle - angle in degrees for generating cusped normals

That's fantastic !!!

The ability to set some shaded (and textured !!) mesh while other are wireframe are super méga usefull !

Hello @jerry,

Your Edit SOP are lost probably because it has never edited.
Once you have do just one operation (translate / rotate / scale) you can switch from move tool to select and is still here.
That's normal.

It's the better I can do (still a bit of offset on x and z when it's done :/ )

@vusta it's not a simple scale to 0 because I want a progressive slope in Y between first and last edge points.

@DmitriiP, Yes !! I have not test on this side, (only on front).
It give a good result, thank you !
There still a offset on x and z when it's done (which I want not) but I think we can't do better with this method.

No, I want the slope but I want to keep my “road” curvature.
That's why I ask for the "“Constrain straighten to view plane” to only straighten Y value without move in X,Y.
But I don't know how to use it.
