Hello,

I probably miss something but how can I properly make a motion walk fbx animation to follow a curve ?
Like in the video presentation :

Cf. joined hip file with a “pathdeform” sop and the walk fbx file.
Thanks

One way, its not using locomotion or anything clever, I've just converted the animation to run in-place, and manually keyframed the offset along the curve.

The terminology on the Path Deform confused me too so I had to ask Scott for help. But basically you want to set Geo Capture Origin to Custom, and then use Capture After End Position (instead of Capture Before Start Position). This effectively ensures that the region of space in the walking animation that is warped onto the path starts at 0 to the end of the skeleton every frame.

Hello, I come back on this subject because I notice that the new h19 version of "motionclipcycle" sop don't work on a clip that come from an agent.

The old one still working great on this kind of clip.

Are you aware about that ?
Do you know what's the new fresh way to use this ?

@julca This seems like a bug to me. Please log it using the Support > Report a bug/RFE menu item at the top of this website. Direct link: https://www.sidefx.com/bugs/submit/ [www.sidefx.com] ... Make sure you submit your hiplc file.
