My problem is i don't know where start..
i find acos function, and trigonometric function.. But there is no informations on this..

hi every one,
I have a big problem, perhaps someone can help me..
if i render my scene without fur, houdini is very speed.
But if i create a fur on my head, even if i use a little number of hair, houdini is very very very slow.. even my other object in my scene without fur become very very slow.. 50 - 100 time more slowly.
I tried to use micro polygon rendering, retracing rendering, PBR… nothing to make.. always very slow… i changed settings of my fur, my scene, my object… i tried all what i can imagine…
Please, someone have an idea?
You can try with 2 simple sphere, 1 with fur and 1 without fur, render your 2 sphere, if you have a little fur somewhere, even a very little part, your render is 100x more slow..

hello,i'm not sure, but i think Maxwell don't use GPU for rendering, only for preview.. and render are again slow compared to octane render! if it's not right, say me.. but when i used Octane, my render are 20 time more speed that maxwell…

Hello, i want say you new bug i found in your plugin but where i say you this?
i try here..
1. if i open “maxwell fire” into houdini, i can move light and object without problems, but if i change a setting from my “maxwell material” with “maxwell fire” open into houdini, houdini crash imediately.
2. if I import FBX format into houdini, maxwell render don't see FBX object.
3. If i change “light parameter” into maxwell, geometry become invisible… i saw my “below geometry” over my “top geometry”… you see that i want explain??
(I send you an image.)
4. I modeled a watchband in houdini, and when i render this into maxwell, (my material is a chrome), i have “artefact” into my render.. but only with reflective material…
I can send you my file if you want.. but give me your mail please… my work is professional and i can't show to all .

It's possible to integrate “light linker” from houdini into your plugin?

and i choose “maxwell render”…

I want give you bug that i seen:
1. When i modifie my material into “edit in material editor”, houdini don't take modifications..
2. if i use maxwell fire into houdini, houdini crash immediatly..
And thank you very much for this plugin, i work with and it's very fantastic..
alone problem for me, maxwell is enough slow for animation…
Think you that Maxwell will use GPU for near futur?

I found only light bugs, but nothing problematic..
i think this bugs are too on 11.715..
When i modifie my material into “edit in material editor”, houdini don't take modifications..
and if i use maxwell fire into houdini, houdini crash immediatly..

but you can find maxwell going:
render -> create render node ->maxwell render
by me i have this “node”…
I work with Houdini Master.
And you can also find node into “Network view” -> tab -> “maxwell camera” and “maxwell environment”
and also into shop node…
(Sorry for my english, tell me if you don't understood)
