Anyone know how to do a circular ramp inside cops?
When using ramp circular I get something reminiscent of the figure to the left, and what I'm looking for is the figure to the right. Your text to link here… [i1.wp.com]

Hallo Houdini people.
im working on a small project, doing the hair groom and sim in houdini.
the problem is when I Sim, i lose my main shape groom. I know a high stiffness can do the job, but i will then lose some movement.
I will like the start and end point on each guide to skip the Sim.
In the picture im trying to visualize my problem and show the node structure i will like to keep.
The hip file i just a simple version of the problem i hope to solve with your help.
Sorry english is not my native, but i hope you understand anyway.

Hi people. I have a simple growth solver running over a surface. Using Cd I can change the color per point. If I will like it smoothly change shadering widthout subdeviding my mesh. How can I do that. Even of word of what to look for, will be wonderful. Thanks

Backplate and a sphere. Rendering using mantra pbr and evn light/hdri map. I get a weird over blown shadow underneath the sphere. But the same thing doesn't happen in houdini 16.5. Is there added some new button or something. Thanks

Hope you can help me. When using houdinis Uv packer(uv layout) all my UVs gets separated at at faces edges when exporting from Houdini to maya. Any Ideas? Thanks.
