I've got a lot of geometry ( grass ) closely packed together insecting each other. The opengl display is fine. But, if I try to render in prman it crashes after a few frames. The bizarre thing is if I render this frame individually in the framebufffer/it it works. There are no random elements involved. Also, if I try and output the geometry it completely freezes the machine.
The error i get from prman is the “can't write to pipe” one.
Any help would be very appreciated.
Thanks

I have another strange problem. I'm adding it onto this post since I seem to be posting quite a lot of renderman related questions.
I have exported .bgeo files that seem to have “burned” their renderman shaders into them. Unfortuantly some of them are only rendering one side of say, a grid. It just leaves these holes in my render. Any ideas?
Cheers
