I was trying out the simple billowy smoke from the shelf tools, when I pressed on it and dropped it into the viewport, it changed a few things, such as the colours and geometry display, etc, not sure which exact shangea it changed, but the everything in the viewport looked different even my geometry, but the colours were rich and detailed for the smoke. I then pressed on the viewport for display options and reset the settings to defaults after which the colours and contrast of the smoke have become dull and faded, is there a way to bring it back to the settings that were changed by the shelf tool?? Since that was what I actually preferred before I restored everything to defaults.

I tried opening a new file and placing the smoke shelf tool again, but the tool is no more automatically changing the viewport settings for me
