Emitting particles from RBD sub-object (or point.)

I have a smoke bomb RBD object bouncing around and I'm tring to get particles to spray out of the top of the bomb.

I tried using a source node in my popnet but can't seem to set a usable SOP. I'm pretty sure I'm doing it all wrong.

Sorry I'm new to Houdini from Maya (Love houdini, BTW… so powerful!)
