I have made a clip in Houdini with a ball falling and hitting things, it is about 240 frames long. I think I rendered it but it just turned into 240 pictures of the frames. How do you make those pictures into a motion picture clip?

I think you mean to conver it into a video file? Just load up your picture/image sequence in the mplay (Image Viewer) and then choose File > Export .
