Please, somebody experienced this too…

i started houdini, but no icons on the interface

i am using windows 7, my videocard is a GeForce GTS 250 - 1GBram

i am using a i7 Proc and 12GB de ram.

I ve tried to run as administrator or the compability mode, but

nothing worked :?

Hi guys…after months without use the Apprentice i am back here again!

and this probs not solved yet…any ideas please??

i just downloaded the latest version of houdini

and downloaded the latest driver for my video card…

still the same!

seens a found half of my problem….

seensn houdini installed the icons on the wrong place or cant find it


i just tried put a diferente icon and it worked….


somebody can point me where the default.shelf is installed?


i ve tried to find it and no sucess…

ive just put that new icon on my shelf and it created this default.shelf…

but besides that shelf…no other…thats the problem!

welll, i found a workflow:

i just created a new folder…put all the shelves there and pointed that to

Houdini!


Seens it was those SPECIAL PERMISSIONS of win 7, always causing some

trouble

i already have had read that.

my problem was really windows 7 folder permissions.

nothing related to gfx card ou houdini version.
