Hi,

A while ago I worked on a Tron Legacy inspired animation. As I try to do most of the time, I've started a blog sequence about the work I did on this: http://ow.ly/3srcY [ow.ly]
I'll be doing some breakdowns on how I did the fx work on this, which was all done in Houdini. Though this is not really a work in progress anymore, I'm planning on extending the shot with a bike crashing into the exhaust wall of the other bike, which should ‘legalize’ my use of this forum

Cheers,
Erik

I posted part II of the ‘rezzing’ breakdown on shading, rendering and comp. I also posted “'Derezzing' a crashing light cycle, part I: first test”

I've just updated my blog on this ‘little’ animation project: http://ow.ly/3YQWp [ow.ly]
The pieces of my explosion setup are now starting to fall into place. Fluids are next up…
Cheers,
Erik
