Hi everyone,
I'm new to Houdini and, as everyone, I'm messing around with some very basic RBD. I was trying to make a little animation of a ball smashing into the floor and breaking some pieces out of it ( the floor, not the ball ).
However, If I make the floor a static object, I can't make it breakable. On the other hand, when I specify that the floor is a rigid body it keeps falling because of the gravity node. I remember that you can turn that off somewhere but I had no luck finding it.
What's the right approach here?
Thanks!

In the group field of gravity node try
* ^groundObject
This means effect all but objects named groundObject
