Hello, I just started with Houdini 13 and begin to learn it.

My main scope of work is : #particles, #networks, #architecture, #spaceframe

I have a few entry questions for Particle modelling:

1. What are the different possible ways to create LINES, POLYGONS, FACETS and/or TRIANGULATIONS between PARTICLE POINTS/VERTICES except using connectadjacentpieces? (please suggest as many as examples/tutorial as possible.)

2. What are the ways to adjust the WIDTH of the lines between points? (@width in popwrangle applied to import_source doesn't work for me at all.)

3. What kind of forces/attarctors can I use to fine tune the density of a particular area within the networked particle, and how to use them?

4. What's the difference between particles created by Source Particle Emitter applied to a Sphere and Pointsfromvolume applied to a Sphere?

Say, how can I create something simple like that in Plexus or Tracope Particlar in AfterEffect, in 3D?

Many Thanks,

my Email is info@lingleng.co.uk
p.s. I am an architectural student.

I suggest you to look at the tutorials part of this site:
H13 Masterclass - Particles by Jeff Lait
Lesson 7 | Particles
Lesson 8 | Particle Examples from NEXT STEPS ANIMATION by Ari Danesh

You can have invaluable information from there and the answer to your questions.
