I have downloaded (twice) installations of houdini 7 from Vislab, and both times the files are corrupt. Not sure if there is something wrong with my network. But is there a mirror where i can download houdini 7 from?

Try not using Download Managers (FlashGet, WGet, ReGet etc.) - just save file as… should work.
