Howdy everyone. I'm following along a digital tutors tutorial and everything has been going ok until i got stuck. The tutorial is on controlling fractures. I have a ceramic head that will be falling apart.

Problem

Im trying to to creat some passive points and active points for the sim. I have white points that I would like to make active and black ones along the outside of the head that i want to be passive. Im using an expression to make the white one active but cant get it to work. Any help would be great.

here is the expression im trying to use

point(“../../head/OUT_ACTIVE_POINT”,$OBJ,“Cd”,0)

That's strange, it seems to be working fine for me.

You should use Simple Fracture Object instead of Packed Fracture Object  8)

if You don't need access to the actual geometry packed prims are the way to go, You can achieve the same effect with a sopsovler . I attached a demo
