Exporting OBJ with clusters into SI ?

Hello everyone,
Im looking to get an OBJ into soft with clusters.
I managed to assign Materials to each group in houdini. I see the colors I've assigned to the materials in houdini's VP, so I assume its working ..
When I import the OBJ tho, I was expecting to see clusters with some basic phong shader applied to them. But no luck..
Any ideas on how to approach this would be great!

Houdini doesn't support materials for objs
can you try FBX?

Ahoy arctor, thanks very much for replying.
Altho the news makes me sad.
I tried FBX - very quick try - couldnt manage to open the file in soft. (Bad header problem)
I used the same file node, and just changed the extension from .obj to .fbx.
I apologize for my lack of Houdini-fu. Cant even spit out a proper FBX from it yet

you'll want to export using File > Export
