Hi,
For my HDA needs, I create some attributes and delete them at the end of my internal tree (inside hda).
But how to ensure no conflict with existing user attributes ?

if the attributes are specific to the hda you could give them very specific names
nameOfHDA_attribFoo
etc
then you'd delete these and know that you're protecting user attribs
