Quick Deforming Collider Question

Hey Everyone

I'm new to Houdini and I'm currently doing a Project using the program. The thing is that I have a character and he has clothes so I'm doing a Cloth Simulation on his clothes but first I'm doing a Deforming Collider on the Character. The thing is that it's taking a very long time and I was wondering if this is normal because I watched the Cloth Masterclass and his operations seemed instant and mine is taking a seriously long time. As of this post it's currently at “3:29:15 (Press ESC to Cancel) Cooking Op: Low_Poly_Example/collisionsource1/vdbfrompolygons”

I also earlier today tried to do a cloth object onto his clothes and that took a long time as well, over an hour again. I'm now using a Low poly version of the clothes and am going to use the Cloth Proxy now that I've learnt how that works. But yes it feels like this is taking longer than it should, so again I was just wondering is this normal? have I accidentally done something to make it run a lot slower than it should.

All help would be appreciated.
Thank You.

check your scene scale,
you may want to work work in units where 1 houdini unit = 1 meter
I mean it's up to you, but maybe default settings expect that

then Deforming Collider for cloth doesn't need volume representation, so "Low_Poly_Example/collisionsource1/vdbfrompolygons” shouldn't even cook, if it does, then turn Low_Poly_Example/collisionsource1/Volume/OutputVolume parameter off, chances are, that Voxel Size is too low for your geometry scale and it takes forever to voxelize at that detail

Thanks for the advice, I seemed to have solved the issue. It seems that when I looked into the Low_Poly_Example Node I forgot earlier in the project I put on a Rigid Collider onto it and didn't delete the nodes before putting on a Deforming Collider onto it. I'm just doing the Cloth object for the Low Poly Shirt now and I did the same thing for the shirt so now when I put a Cloth Object Node on it was instant. When I press play it's still Cooking Op and is quite slow though, any tips on how to make it simulate quicker?

Also when I tried it the first time the shirt seemed like it was falling through the character mesh, is there a reason for that? I haven't used the Attach to Body yet but I didn't think I needed to since it was a Shirt and it would hang off the mesh.
