Gone thru this dated tutorial which focuses on rendering a Ocean ‘simulation’ using the Small or large Ocean shelf tool.
However, I need to “bake” the textures in a exported FBX for import into Unreal or Unity.
Is there a tutorial somewhere that shows how to do this?

Hi, you mention the small/large ocean shelf tools which I'm fairly certain were introduced with H16's new ocean workflow. The video you linked is for the previous workflow so in case this helps, here is the link for the H16 masterclass on oceans.

From what I remember, I don't think it covers FBX export for game engines but it might provide some useful info.

Thanks Rob! Yes watched it but still no luck after a couple days exporting FBX into Unity. It seems that Unity never recognizes the animation in the fbx file when its a single deforming mesh. Guessing Houdini's FBX exporter is still ‘broken’ to some degree.
