Building assets with cache that loads itself

I hope I know enough to phrase this properly.

I've made a particle asset that look-wise is doing exactly what I set out to do, but performance wise is doodoo. I know I need to cache them and then reload them into the asset at (roughly) the same time but that's where my knowledge on the matter ends. Can anyone refer me to some training or perhaps a project I can pick apart and figure that out? Thanks I love you.

This is a Houdini question, so I feel not many Houdini Experts will read it here.

It's for a C4D asset, still no? Shows how much I don't know. By the way thanks for unknowingly teaching me just about everything I've learned about asset creation so far.
