Hi!
I started my project with the default meters units but I see that all the info I get from google is always in inches so I wanted to make the switch in houdini. So I changed the units to inches (0.0254) and applied.
The problem is that when I create a box and set it to 20x20x20, it looks like a 20 meters tall building. It's like the unit type does nothing.
What am I missing?

Houdini doesn't use units for anything, aside from the default values in a few dops, such as gravity and stiffness in wire/cloth simulation.
for everything else, 20 is 20 is 20. If your scene is in meters, a 20 unit box is 20 meters; if your scene is in inches, a 20 unit box is 20 inches. There is no implied conversion of any sort.
