In Houdini 16 when you drew a curve, you would get a handy tool that would show a dot on the XZ plane so you could see where on that plain you were placing your CV points and a vertical line from that dot to where you would be placing in the Y direction. This was great for allowing you to get a representation of 3D space on a 2D screen.
As of 16.5 the curve drawing tool doesn't seem to have these visualisations enabled, making curve drawing rather frustrating. Is anyone able to tell me if it is possible to enable these features or if they were removed?
Thanks goldfarb. Using shift to works to raise up from the construction pane, but without the visualizer it's impossible to figure out where the point will end up in 3D space.
Sorry, I should have indicated that the picture above is of the tool that I can no longer see. When I draw a curve now, there is no blue dot on the construction pane or vertical line indicating Y distance. I only get the red line and cursor.
