Hi, I'm a newish Houdini Indie user, and have been watching some tutorials to understand how PDGs can help me create variations of mesh objects.

I can create variations manually in a geometry network and render each of those to an FBX using the ROP FBX node. I can also create the variations of the mesh using a PDG, but I'm unsure how to output all the variations in that PDG to separate FBX files with different names for each.

I'd be grateful if someone can shed some light on which node to use in the TOP for that process.

You can use a ROP Fetch node in TOPS to point to your ROP FBX node. In the output of the ROP FBX node, have something along the lines of path_to_output_dir/my_output_file_`@pdg_name`.fbx
