FBXcharacterOutput issue

I have been playing around with the new kineFX tools inside h.18.5.

so far it has been quite some fun except that I cannot seem to export my rig using the new fbx character output node.
it keeps giving me the error:“ failed to export skin geometry. both name and path primitive attributes are missing.”

has anyone an idea of what I am doing wrong or what I am missing.

my setup is working just fine with the bonedeform sop and I am doing nothing too complicated.

The exporter is looking for a `name` primitive attribute on the skin geometry, which is used to determine the names of shape(s) in the FBX file. You could add this with the Name SOP.

In my case the path attribute per prim was empty due to the Skinning Converter node, used somewhere before in the setup. Added an Attribute Delete node in order to remove the path attribute and it works fine now.
