Hi!
I use Houdini 18.5 Indie and in documentation for Group Paint node there is Operation field.
https://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini/nodes/sop/grouppaint.html [www.sidefx.com]
I don't have such field in my node.

I have only Operation for All field but if I set it to Remove Points and start painting it changes to Add Points.

How do I remove the painted points from the group?

Can anyone help me?

I would be grateful for comment from Houdini support.

Same here with houdini 19.5.
No option for removing points.

Is it the same for everyone ?

Is it a bug ?

Houdini documentation says this :

Group paint interface is like this :

Where the operation add and remove point are gone ? in the group paint interface.

Isn't this an interface bug ?

I noticed as well, as with a lot of functions in Houdini, that this works a bit different. And unfortunately you can't seem to adjust the brush setting with the menu. The "remove points" in the dropdown menu seems to work only with the "flood" or "apply to all".

I use a Wacom, and I have to Middle Mouse press + click and paint to activate "remove" points. In most apps when it says "Middle Mouse", pressing it includes the "click" but apparently not in Houdini.

Maybe that's what is causing confusion ?

Shortcuts are fine. Interface has loosed parameters (it seems obvious).
