I have a SOP Create lop with some geo inside it and a Visualize node to configure how that geo is drawn in the viewport. Back in /stage, my geo shows up but the visualization is lost. Are the kinds of visualizations offered by the Visualize node compatible with the LOP viewer?

No, visualizers are not supported in the LOP viewer, and adding support is not currently a priority.
