Joint Capture Paint very unstable

Anybody else using Joint Capture Paint SOP and finding it very unstable? I get very frequent random "segmentation fault" crashes all the time - usually when undoing, but I can't give exact reproduction steps and fill a bug report.
Node also produces python errors. Sometimes it garbles all the weights after a python error. Sometimes I manage to save scene in a state just before crash, and I can't open it again - I get segmentation foult immediately after opening.
Overall it seems like a very nice weight painting node, just it's so unstable for me, almost unusable.

Just wanted to add to this that this has been fixed since 19.5.562 and is now working perfectly - rock solid! Thank's SideFX!

It's not been fixed. Crashes all the time using 19.5.569.

In H20 it's completely unusable. It's not just unstable, but I literally can't enter the view state.

I got this python error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "C:\PROGRA~1/SIDEEF~1/HOUDIN~1.590/houdini/python3.10libs\hudinfohandler.py", line 268, in onHudSetTemplate

    return _hou.SceneViewer_hotkeyAssignments(self, hotkey_symbols)
ValueError: Invalid hotkey symbol (h.pane.gview.radial)

Even with a completely clean Houdini install without custom preferences or hotkeys.

The whole thing is just unbelievably broken. I mean, yeah, it's more of an UI bug and one can hack the python script in python3.10libs to make it work... but seriously how was KineFX the selling point of 19 and 19.5...

After all these years, still extremely buggy and unstable in 20.5.360.

Started rigging a character and trying to paint weights with "jointcapturepaint" and its a huge smelly swamp full of bugs.

I slowly get the feeling these features are just there for show, nobody expects you to actually use them...

Same over here.
29944: Fatal error: Segmentation fault
Crashes after I do a very simple mesh with 2 points making a joint in it. Wanting to do the weighting more smooth.. first substract and then smooth.. crash !! I didn't do something wrong, it's jointcapturepaint ( I thought the better version of captureLayerpaint, specially with the fill option.. it's paints better) anyways... I change it back to captureLayerPaint.. now more stable than Jointcapture in 20.550, it seems...

If you don't paint the weight.. you good.
If you want to paint the weight.. sometimes it's eating the polygons !!
Picture is before I did simplyfied the joints and when painting the polygons are vanishing away.

The good news is that the Python error is fixed.

The bad news is that it's still comically unstable.
