Ah, ok I can reproduce now but I have no idea what the expected behaviour for this. Please log a bug by emailing support or filling this form: https://www.sidefx.com/bugs/#/create/ [www.sidefx.com] ... Make sure to include your video and that you need to enable the 2D Pan and Zoom in the View viewport state, and make sure that the camera transform is not locked in the viewport.

its very useful for modelling and exact placement of elements into the scene. i used to use an external tool for that before the feature was added to houdini
