I have always sketched a lot, it’s how I collect ideas, develop concepts, and refine my style. Often, I find inspiration flipping through my sketchbooks. Feeling the urge to bring some of the sketches to life and explore the possibilities of translating them into renderings, I have handpicked a selection to create this series.

For the first one, I began by sculpting the centerpiece in Zbrush and integrated the elements one by one until achieving a harmonious balance between structure and details. My intention was to faithfully represent the contrasting textures—organic against geometric—from my original drawing. Executed in Houdini, where I also took the chance to explore the new feather tool, the project took on a new dimension with dynamic lighting and camera movements, culminating in a sequence rendered with Redshift.
