Here is my another attempt to simulate multilayer cloth in Houdini, this time it is a Victorian-style dress simulation created using Vellum, dress is designed in Marvelous Designer (by Natalija Jagarinec) and Rendered with Renderman for Houdini. Stay tuned for the upcoming version featuring hair simulation and grooming. I am also seeking free motion capture files, especially dance-related, to further explore different clothing styles with varied motions so that I can attempt to push the boundaries of digital fashion simulation.
