I've downloaded both the daily and production version of Houdini 14 and they have the same errors in the UI as you can see in the attached picture.
Everything else works( which I found out by blindly trying to make things in it), but I can't see anything.
I've downloaded the latest graphics drivers for my laptop and reinstalled a ton of times but it hasn't helped.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

That may be the latest version of the HD 4000 driver offered by your laptop manufacturer, but it is not the latest HD 4000 driver:
