Hello all,

In H14 I was working on a project where I managed to get the renders out as I wanted. Now in H15 the output did cutoff the empty space. When I fill that empty space with a box it renders as I want it to be.

Anyone?

Thanks a lot! Robert

Yes, now Mantra set EXR's Data Window.

You can turn it off by adding “Set EXR Data Window” property to Mantra ROP and disable it.

I think problem is in the program like Photoshop or After Effects that can't interpret this standard information correctly by default and instead they crop the image.

How wonderful, thanks a lot Pezetko :-), works like a charm.
I figured it would be something like this, glad I asked.

Kind regards, Robert

and for those like me wondering how do to this, that means choosing to edit the rendering interface, and finding this parameter under the “Metadata” tab, adding it to the Mantra rop, and unchecking it.

Thanks guys, this was bothering me too!

Additionally, I believe you can download a plug-in for After Effects called PRO EXR from http://www.fnordware.com/ProEXR/ [fnordware.com] which will enable After Effects to recognize the data window correctly.
