Go to odforce and there's some code there posted in the Scripts forum(I don't know why odforce suggests VEX code is “scripting”, but there yah go). Admittedly no tutorials, but there's code you can play with.

Well…. what I posted at od is a “full implementation of that stuff”. I've asked Marc not to put it in the codex section yet, as I am refining some aspects of it, but it is a full implementation of the multiple scattering term in Jensen's original paper.

As for help/tutorials… as I said in the od posting, I'll try and answer some questions as they come; but I won't write a proper help until the implementation is solid (it's still changing and improving…).

Things should generally time nicely with whenever SESI puts up the “Houdini Exchange” forum (or whatever it's going to be called); at which point I'll post there (and likely Mark Elendt will post another version there too).

Thanks once more, you are doing a great job, but still I'm sure there are some less patient souls (like me), who probably think that a basic tutorial is never useless. Ok ok - I'll wait - I don't insist - as I said - you are doing a great job already!
