Rocky Linux 10. Applied system updates a few days ago and now Houdini randomly slows to a crawl. It doesn't crash, just S-L-O-W. I'm a Linux noob so I don't even know where to begin troubleshooting.

Update: I downgraded to Rocky 9 and now Houdini is as snappy as ever. I was having issues with Davinci Resolve on 10 so now it works great also.

I had Rocky Linux 10, and made the same move you did, went back to Rocky Linux 9. It was the best move I could ever make professionally. SideFX did tell us that it doesn't support Wayland... and I should have listened, instead of fight the facts :-). I wasted so much time, but I am back in business and better than ever :-).
