We recently released VaraVision, a measuring tool for Houdini.

Originally built for our own production work at my studio. Needed measurements that would remain connected to the Houdini scene, update when the geometry changed, and appear clearly in client presentations and final renders, instead of doing it in Photoshop

VaraVision lets you:

• Create persistent distance and angle measurements
  
• Keep measurements editable as the scene changes
  
• Style and color the measurement lines
  
• Work in OBJ and Solaris context
  
• Generate a clean 2D measurement overlay for final renders
  
• Export measurements and angles to CSV
  
• Use your preferred scene units and custom unit suffixes
  

The overlay is separate from the beauty pass, so it is not tied to a specific render engine.
