Hi,

I've been playing around with g splats and on the new features page it shows a relight gsplats node as part of labs.

Is this in the current build or something that is coming later ? If so I can't find it.

Thanks.

Hi,

thanks, I found the relight wasp in the content library now, but when I load it there is a warning about incomplete asset description of the relight gsplat node.

I've got h22.368 - I assumed the correct version of labs was installed with that, but I redownloaded it with the launcher and still get the error message after restarting Houdini.

I even checked the preferences folder and it appears to be there but just not working in Houdini.

Hi,

The GSplat nodes are not in the 22.0.368 version of Labs if you are installing Labs from Houdini Launcher. If you want to install Labs from the Launcher, you will have to use version 22.0.385 or later. It's usually best to just install the latest daily build and make sure Automatically install SideFX Labs is checked in the Launcher preferences.

If you want to use the GSplat nodes in Houdini 22.0.368, you will have to install Labs as a package. Instructions for this can be found at the link below.

Hi,

thanks I haven't had a chance to do this yet, but I do see a new tutorial from you on youtube about it which is very well timed.
