I am trying to use the file CHOP to import a .wav file on linux, but keep getting:

Loading from stream failed ( ref: (null))
File not found.

And yes the file is there and plays fine. :wink:

any idas?? thanks

Good old sox. Will import as an aiff.

which linux dist are you running? i know houdini on rh9 wont load wavs.. only aiff's.

You can only import AIFFs on Linux, no WAVs.

hey steven,

is this the case for all linux systems? for some reason i remember hearing that mandrake could handle more than aiff.. just curious about that…
