I'm a beginner with Houdini, so the answer to my question will probably be obvious to you . I created my first smoke simulation, which I would like to export as a VDB into Blender 3D. The problem I'm encountering is that my simulation completely disappears when I click 'Save to Disk'. I must have missed a step somewhere... Would anyone know what?
I believe that the pyrosolver converts VDBs to Houdini volumes internally. You can use a Convert VDB node to turn the Houdini volume back into a VDB. If Blender expects a certain name, you may have to use a name node to give the different VDB primitives proper names.
