These tutorials are meant to teach you how to do Direct Modelling in Houdini, minimum knowledge about Houdini is needed to be able to follow these tutorials. In each video we are introducing a new tools and gradually trying to learn all the tricks Houdini DM toolset has to offer, and believe it or not, there is plenty of content to go over. Hopefully, by the end of the series, you'll be learning and have as much fun as I did in the process of exploring Houdini's modelling toolset.
