Students will learn a combination of pyro spread tools and how to create growth simulations. The show Raised by Wolves inspires this growth simulation. The tutorial will show how the "scaly infection" was created in season 2 and how to create additional mattes for the FX. The growth simulation used test geometry commonly found in Houdini, which is designed for beginners. This tutorial will walk artists through these science fiction effects using SOPs and very light coding work.
