import file with otl loose attrs values April 2, 2015, 3:34 a.m.
Hello, sorry guys I have another question
I built a maya setup that use few otls I created. If I import that .ma file into a new one, I can see that all the values of the otls' attributes go back to the default values. If I just open that file, all is ok.
Is this a bug? Unfortunately in our pipeline I have to import the files all the times.
I tested this with few different otls we created at the office, and I see the same issue all the times.
I'm running plugin 1.8 at the moment (I think…I'll update the info later)
Currently I'm saving presets and apply those again after the setup is imported, but is quite annoying, as the are many otls and different setups per sequence etc. and I need to copy presets between people ect.
cheers

Hi Andrew,
thanks for the info.
For the moment I'm doing something inside the otl. I simply put 2 switchs, one for the geo and another one for the points, so by default the otl create only 1 cube and 1 point, so I can switch on the heavy part of the calculations only when I need. Easy and good enough for now.
cheers
