Houdini 15 Little Freezes randomly Feb. 5, 2020, 9:56 a.m.
I had my Houdini 15 with some micro blocking/freezes, every 1 / 2 min…
If you have this trouble just do this !
You have to instal an other version before, that's the only way to have the good fixing.
Go in your ../Documents, where you can find this folder : “Houdini15.0” ..and of course, now, the folder of the new version
like …“Houdini16.0” for exemple.
Now just copy everything from this new version, and paste in the “Houdini15.0” folder… .
After that,… Enjoy!

H17: Pyro Source: velocity volume??? Dec. 19, 2019, 6:51 a.m.
Hi Guys,
i found something.
when you create a pyro, it will create you automaticaly a pyro Source, at the bottom of your popnet for exemple.
If you want to keep the velocity of your popnet you have to go on your attribute Noise (at the bottom of your pyro source)
and choose this :
- Signature : 3D
- adding “v” in the attributes
after this go in pyro_sim
create a new volume source
- field rank : Vector
- source volume : v
- target field : vel
keep the operation in add, and scale at 10 to see the motion !!
