I'm trying the same way, but it says that there is no such file, houdini_setup_bash
strange, it resides in /opt/hfs etc directory …

my code is

cd /opt /opt/hfs9.5.156
source houdini_setup_bash
cd ~

what could be wrong?

when I type hconfig in terminal, it says that there is no such command
same thing happens in a textport

is there something wrong with my path variables, so the program can't find hconfig file?
I'm using Suse linux

I have strange problem with my houdini apprentice, running under Fedora 8 Linux x64
Houdini starts fine, but UI has no icons, and there are some bugs when I'm trying to click on menus etc.

It seems that the problem is in my video card, or drivers perhaps?…
