I've been trying to use the multiple sequences + viewports feature in MPlay to compare flipbook renders. The different sequences show up in MPlay's timeline and when I use multiple viewports. I can't seem to reliably change what sequence is playing in which viewport though. Simple scenes (box + animated position + color) don't seem to cause issues. However, more complex scenes (animated character mesh + fluid volumes) never seem to respond as expected. Is this a bug or am I missing something.

SDF volumes don't display like the Digital Tutors one.

Perhaps the tutorial is quite old? Which Houdini version are they using.

hi i know this topic is a bit old, but i'm just learning this package and the tutorial i'm following shows the volume as foggy while mine is more crisp. my transparency is on, i'm currently in v14, and i believe the tutorial was made in v12. any help is appreciated.

i suppose that's the best plan of action for me now. thanks for the help.
