For Loop and Switch to Select Geo Per Iteration May 27, 2020, 5:25 p.m.
Hi guys,
I'm fairly new to Houdini and trying my hand at procedural modeling.
I want to spawn geometries along something but give the user a choice of which type of geo is at each separate iteration, I am using a for loop and carve node to allow custom placement per iteration but my question is…
How can I get a for loop to work with a switch so that every time I create a new iteration I can switch what type of input is used (geo shape for example), say I want to make a cube one iteration 1 and a sphere by iteration 2 and a torus on iteration 3?
and which part would then be controlled with a custom parameter?
any help is super appreciated!
